GENERAL INFO | MEETINGS & FUNDRAISING | FSL PARENTS ASSOCIATION

The Fusion Spirit Leaders Cheerleading Parents Association (FSLPA) is a part of the Fusion Spirit Leaders family that was formed in May of 2008. FSLPA is a registered non-profit society of parent volunteers that all have an athlete(s) in the upcoming 2009-2010 competitive season of the Fusion Spirit Leaders Cheerleading Program.

The FSLPA’s main goal and purpose is to help raise funds through various fundraising activities to help reduce the cost to parents and guardians for uniforms, monthly tuition, travel costs and camps, which are all directly a part of the Fusion Spirit Leaders Cheerleading Program.

Fundraising is currently a voluntary activity for both athletes and their parents. Discussions have been made that there may be some minimal commitment required in the upcoming season from both the athletes and their parents. Most fundraising activities require a minimum number of volunteers. The commitment from all members of the Fusion Spirit Leaders Cheerleading Program and the help of all parents is needed to benefit successfully. Fundraising activities proceeds from concessions are split evenly between those that worked that event, while fundraisers like selling a product is directly fundraised towards the individual athlete. We also feel that it is important that some mandatory commitment be required to help show both our athletes and their coach that we as parents/guardians support their goals.

All parents are welcomed and encouraged to be a part of the FSLPA. We look forward to meeting new parents and hearing new ideas of ways to raise money. The opportunities are endless, so with your support we can help members and their families become a part of this wonderful program.
